Registration and Hotel Reservation

Registration for the 9th International Conference on Ubiquitous Computing is now open. Please consider the following information carefully, thank you.

Registration fees

Regular Registration
UbiComp 2007 Conference Registration €480.-
   Early registration until August 12, 2007, thereafter the late registration fee will be €580.-
UbiComp 2007 Conference and Workshop Day Registration €560.-
   Early registration until August 12, 2007, thereafter the late registration fee will be €660.-
   
UbiComp 2007 Workshop Day ONLY Registration €120.-
   
Student Registration (Students are required to show a valid Student ID on site)
UbiComp 2007 Conference Registration (Student) €320.-
   Early registration until August 12, 2007, thereafter the late registration fee will be €420.-
UbiComp 2007 Conference and Workshop Day Registration (Student) €400.-
   Early registration until August 12, 2007, thereafter the late registration fee will be €500.-
   
UbiComp 2007 Workshop Day ONLY Registration €120.-

The Workshop Day registration fee includes the printed workshop proceedings. Doctoral Colloquium papers will be published as part of the printed adjunct proceedings, covering also LBR, demos, videos and challenge papers. The adjunct proceedings are included for DC participants and conference attendees.

The final deadline to register online is September 10, 2007 in order to allow for administration in due time. After this date, no more pre-registrations can be accepted. It will be possible to register at the conference to on-site registration conditions.

Terms of Payment

Payment has to be done immediately along with the registration and be made in Euros. Please do not forget to indicate the delegate’s name and “UbiComp 2007” for all payments related affairs. Two modes of payment are offered:

    Please note: all bank charges, i.e. also foreign ones, have to be borne by the participant. Do not forget to instruct your bank to process the remittance “free of all charges for the benefi ciary”. For transfers within the European Union, bank charges will be considerably lower if you indicate the IBAN and SWIFT codes.

  2. By credit card (Visa, Mastercard and Diners accepted): please clearly specify your credit card details in the appropriate section of the registration form. Upon receipt of the completed registration form and remittance of the appropriate fees, delegates will be sent a confirmation letter, which should be presented at the registration desk in Innsbruck.

Cancellations and Refunds

Notification of cancellation must be sent in writing to PCO TYROL CONGRESS. If cancellation is received by August 20, 2007 payments will be refunded minus bank charges and a handling fee of €50.-. Refunds for cancellations received after August 20, 2006 will be made in exceptional circumstances only. Please note that due to organizational reasons, all refunds will be processed only after the meeting.

Hotel Reservation

Hotel rooms at advantageous rates can be reserved through PCO TYROL CONGRESS. The hotels and rates are listed on the registration form. To reserve hotel accommodation, please fill in the appropriate section on the registration form together with your credit card details as guarantee for the reservation. Please note that only a limited number of rooms are available at this time of the year, and early reservations are therefore strongly recommended.

Important: No accommodation booking can be made unless guaranteed by a valid credit card. Your card will not be charged, the information is needed to secure your room only! All payments have to be settled directly with the hotel.

The number of nights booked is binding and will serve as the basis for your hotel invoice. In case of early departure the hotel is entitled to charge all nights booked.

Modifications to your reservation are possible free of charge up to August 20, 2007. All cancellations or reductions in the number of nights booked after this date are subject to a cancellation fee as stated above. Please note that a minimum stay of 2 nights is required. Any changes to your reservation must be communicated to PCO Tyrol Congress by writing notice.

Shuttle Service to LoCA'07

UbiComp conference attendees that participate in the adjacent LoCA event in Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich are offered a shuttle service from Innsbruck to Oberpfaffenhofen. Tickets for the transfer service on September 19 (Wednesday evening) can be reserved as part of this registration procedure. The price of a one-way ticket is €15.- per person.
