Ubicomp 2012 Venue Information

The conference will be held in the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. The convention center was the first in the country (and currently only one of two) to receive Gold LEED certification, and played host to the G20 Summit in 2009. Convention Center, 3rd Floor

On the 3rd floor is where Registration (Wed-Sat), Plenary Sessions, Demo/Poster Session, and the Workshops/Doctoral Colloquium will be held. To get here from the connected conference hotel, the Westin Pittsburgh, go up to the 2nd floor of the Westin, walk across the glass-enclosed skywalk, and take the elevator/escalator/stairs up to the 3rd floor. Or, for a slightly shorter walk, exit the Westin, take Penn Ave. to 10th St. and take a right - it's only a block away.

Convention Center, 4th Floor

On the 4th floor is where the Paper Presentations will be held. To get to the 4th floor, there are conveniently located escalators, stairs, and an elevator.
