*Call for Nominations (CFN) - HITC Award for Excellence (Industrial Impact
Award)-2024*


The HITC Award for Excellence in Hyper-Intelligence (Industrial Impact
Award) recognizes up to 3 individuals or small companies who have made
distinguished, influential, and on-going yet towards long-lasting
contributions in the field of hyper-intelligent systems with applications.



*Nominations:*

A candidate must be nominated by members of the community. Nominations must
be submitted via email to the selection secretary (and CC the Committee
chair). The subject of the nomination email should be named as: HITC +
award category+ nominee, for example, HITC-PhD Dissertation Award- Abbott,
HITC-Early Career Award-Obama, HITC-Middle Career Award-George Washington,
HITC-Achievement Award-Macron, HITC-Industrial Impact Award-Jack. A
nomination application (as a single PDF file) must consist of the following
materials:

· Name/email of person making the nomination (self-nominations are not
eligible).

· Name/email of the nominee.

· A statement by the nominator (maximum of 500 words) as to why the nominee
is highly deserving of the award both on excellence and in relation to IEEE
HITC.

· CV of the nominee or supporting materials of the company showing the
current impact/potential impact of the innovation (max 20-page length).

· Up to three support letters from persons other than the nominator-these
should be collected by the nominator and included in the nomination.



*Important Dates:*

· Nomination Deadline: July 15, 2024

· Results Notification: August 31, 2024

at a selected IEEE HITC sponsored conference.
