Dear all,
The deadline for submitting Workshop Proposals to EICS 2026 has been extended to Mar 1, 2026.
The Workshops Track at the 18th ACM SIGCHI Symposium on Engineering Interactive Computing Systems (EICS 2026) offers an opportunity to organize specialized forums alongside the main conference and bring together researchers and practitioners around emerging topics in the engineering of interactive computing systems.
EICS 2026 will take place June 30 – July 3, 2026 in Patras, Greece.
We welcome both traditional workshops with paper presentations and innovative formats, including design-oriented workshops, experience-based sessions, and collaborative interactive formats. Workshops may be half-day or full-day, and successful past EICS workshops are encouraged to submit continuation proposals.
Extended Important Dates (AoE):
• Workshop proposal submission deadline: March 1, 2026 (extended)
• Notification to organizers: March 6, 2026 (extended)
• Camera-ready deadline for proposals: April 30, 2026
Workshop proposals should be up to 5 pages (ACM Master template, manuscript option) and include aims and goals, target audience, recruitment and advertising plans, workshop structure, operational requirements, post-workshop dissemination plans, and organizer information.
Organizers of accepted workshops will also have the opportunity to present their workshop outcomes at the main conference to maximize visibility and impact.
