[Announcements] [EICS 2026] First Call for Posters & Demonstrations

Dear colleagues,


We are pleased to invite submissions to the Posters and Demonstrations track at EICS 2026, the 18th ACM SIGCHI Symposium on Engineering Interactive Computing Systems, taking place June 30 – July 3, 2026 in Patras, Greece.


The Posters and Demos track provides an opportunity to present work in progress, early-stage research, and practical systems in an interactive and informal setting, fostering discussion and feedback within the EICS community.


Posters
Poster papers allow researchers and practitioners to present ongoing work and emerging ideas and to receive feedback from peers.


Demos
Demo papers showcase novel systems, techniques, and practical applications related to interactive systems engineering. Live demonstrations will take place during the conference exhibition sessions.


We also welcome Lab and Group Demos, where research groups may present multiple related demonstrations or several perspectives on a shared theme. Interested groups are encouraged to contact the chairs in advance.


Important Dates (AoE)
• Submission deadline: March 12, 2026
• Notification to authors: April 22, 2026
• Camera-ready deadline: April 30, 2026


Submission Requirements
Submissions consist of a non-anonymized paper (up to 2 pages + references, two-column format), a walkthrough video (required for demos, max. 3 minutes), a still image, and a description of on-site setup requirements. Authors should clearly describe the system or work, its novelty, and the envisioned exhibition setup.

Accepted posters and demos will be presented in the conference exhibition area. Demo authors are expected to perform live demonstrations at the conference.
