The 6th Conference on Blockchain Research & Applications for Innovative
Networks and Services (BRAINS 2024) will be held in Berlin, Germany from
October 9 to 11, 2024.
Web3, Blockchain, and Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) have the
potential to disrupt any domain involving coordination among autonomous
resources. This includes finance and payments (e.g., fintech), but also
networks (e.g., power grids or telecom networks), computing (e.g.,
brokering of edge resources), IoT (e.g., supply chain, V2X or industry 4.0)
or service platforms (e.g., identity management).
Over three days in October 2024, blockchain researchers and experts from
all over the world will come together in Berlin to present their latest
research findings and discuss the latest trends and developments in the
aforementioned areas. The conference is aimed at researchers, developers,
entrepreneurs, students and representatives from politics, society and
administration who are interested in current research topics in the areas
of blockchain, Web3 and DeFi.

BRAINS 2024 will be hosted by the Technical University of Berlin.
The address of the venue is Hardenbergstraße 16-18 in 10623 Berlin, which
is close to many sights such as the Kurfürstendamm, the Zoo and the
Tiergarten.
On the second evening there will be a conference dinner in the restaurant
of the Berlin TV Tower at a height of 207 m with a 360° panoramic view over
Berlin.
