Call for Tutorial Proposals

We are soliciting proposals for tutorials to be presented at the IEEE
CloudNet 2024. The tutorials must cover advanced topics that fit the
scope of IEEE CloudNet and should be of sufficient relevance and
importance to attract significant interest from the networking and cloud
communities. Typical tutorial audiences consist of graduate students,
researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry. We invite
proposals for half-day tutorials.

Proposal Format

Each tutorial proposal (maximum 3 pages, two column, 10 point) must include:

     Title of the tutorial.

Tutorial organizers (name, contact and short biography).

Scope and topics of the tutorial.

     Rationale:

Why is the tutorial related to IEEE CloudNet 2024?

         Why is the topic important?

Why may the tutorial attract a reasonable number of attendees?

Particular details that might be unique to the proposed tutorial.

Expected target audience, in terms of both composition and
estimated number of attendees.

Description of links to any planned materials or resources to be
distributed to attendees.

Names of potential participants and invited speakers (if any).

Organizers are expected to be fully committed and physically present at
the tutorial.

About IEEE CloudNet 2024

In 2024, the IEEE International Conference on Cloud Networking (IEEE
CloudNet) will be held for the first time in the southern hemisphere, in
the wonderful city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 27 to 29 November
2024. Rio de Janeiro is harmonically shaped by mountains and sea, lying
in the narrow alluvial plain between Guanabara Bay and the Atlantic
Ocean. Its fantastic landscape comprises a series of green mountains
cascading down to the coast, where visitors have the privilege to stare
at iconic natural beauties, the Sugar Loaf (Pão de Açúcar) and Christ
the Redeemer (Corcovado), from the emblematic beaches of Copacabana,
Leblon, and Ipanema. Rio de Janeiro is also famous for its cultural
miscegenation, remarkable architecture, exciting history, all-year-long
hot weather, and hospitable people.
