[Announcements] Call for nominations for SIGMOBILE awards

Dear UbiComp colleagues,

As chair of two award committees in ACM SIGMOBILE, I am aware of the friendly overlap in the UbiComp and SIGMOBILE communities.  I am writing to make you aware of two important SIGMOBILE awards, and to encourage you to nominate promising candidates.  We are looking to receive a broad, diverse range of nominees.  Neither the nominee nor nominator need be a SIGMOBILE member.

Please send nominations by February 15 for the following two SIGMOBILE awards:

  1.  The Outstanding Contribution Award is the highest honor the SIGMOBILE community bestows on an individual. It is a recognition of this person’s lasting technical contribution and influence on our field.
  2.  The RockStar Award is SIGMOBILE's early career award. The Award recognizes an individual who has made recent outstanding research or product contributions to the field of mobile computing during the early part of that person's career.
