[Announcements] Submit by July 24 - Position Papers/Demos to VLCS 2017 (Co-located with MobiCom)

4th ACM Workshop on Visible Light Communication Systems (VLCS 2017)

Co-located with MobiCom 2017, Snowbird, UT

To encourage more discussion and interaction at the workshop, this year we
are also soliciting early ideas in the form of short 2-page position papers
and abstracts describing demos. Any topic related to VLC is in scope and
welcome.

Position papers: We seek short descriptions of early-stage research ideas
in general, but in particular those that point to future directions for the
field, novel applications (especially killer apps for VLC), or identify
technologies that are ready for market adoption. The last case can be
thought of as pitching a startup idea and making arguments for market
adoption, though not a full business plan.

Demos: We welcome any demos of research prototypes, new applications, or
testbed setups.

Manuscripts should be submitted to the same HotCRP website for full
workshops paper. Position papers should have the titles prefixed with
"Position:...", and demo abstracts should have the titles prefixed with
"Demo:" Please follow the formatting instructions for the main conference,
except that both position papers and demo abstracts are limited to 2 pages,
including any figures and references.
